Join us for Gaming U, a fun and interactive class where strategy, critical thinking, and teamwork come to life! In this engaging program, students will learn how to play a variety of popular games such as chess, Uno, and Monopoly. Each session includes guided instruction on rules, game strategy, and fair play, followed by hands-on gameplay where students can apply what they’ve learned. Whether you're new to these games or looking to sharpen your skills, Gaming U offers a supportive environment to learn, connect, and have fun with friends

As a Healthcare provider, yoga instructor and certified trauma informed practioner, Dr. Heidi MacAlpine ensures that our yoga classes adapt to support the whole person, taking into consideration sensory, muscular and respiratory systems. This class supports participants different learning styles and abilities and adapts and modifies instruction through props, movements and the human body to provide the necessary input to support participation. We offer small group, partner and individual lessons. Please bring your own mat.

Welcome to our Healthy Habits community class! Our Personal Trainer and Special Educator will take you on a journey each month to create Healthy Lifestyle Habits! Join us to learn to make and enjoy your own healthy choices! You will learn about nutrition through fun engaging games and research as well as practice hands-on shopping skills and create your own recipes in an engaging and supportive environment!

LI Strive’s Connected & Confident Class: Navigating Friendships, Social Situations (to include Social Media), and so much more, is a community class to build social confidence, learn about relationships, and practice essential skills for meaningful connections, communication and build confidence.
Each curriculum-based class includes instruction, discussion, activities, and real-world practice, led by a licensed social worker.

Join us for our Community Explorations community class at LI Strive for everyone 14+. This class offers monthly opportunities to learn about and from a variety of local community environments. Our class begins and ends at LI Strive with lessons, discussions and activities specific to the days offsite classroom. Our curriculum includes learning about environmental awareness, how to follow a scavenge hunt, guided tours, learn from nature, animals and their habitats and engaging projects and lessons.

LI Strive is excited to present cooking classes for everyone aged 14 and older! In this welcoming environment, you will create and savor delicious dishes alongside your friends. We will focus on simple, replicable recipes while learning to measure ingredients, follow instructions, and share our culinary creations.

In our Art Exploration class students will travel through time learning about influential art movements and legendary artists—from cave paintings and Renaissance masters to modern design and pop art.
