About LI Strive

Our Mission

At LI Strive Foundation Corp., our mission is to create an inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We are dedicated to supporting children and adults, of all skill levels and abilities, through supports and services that meet everyone's needs. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections and promote independence in an environment where everyone feels valued and included

Our Story

LI Strive Foundation Corp. was founded with the belief that everyone, no matter their skill level or ability, deserves access to opportunities that enhance their quality of life.

With over 25 years of experience in special education and administration, our founder, Christine Racca, recognized the critical need for a supportive and inclusive space on the east end of Long Island.  LI Strive was born out of a passion to serve and a commitment to make a positive impact and create community connections.

Board members: Christine Racca, Lauri Rogers, Janine Louie and Laura McMillen.

What We Do

LI Strive offers a wide range of community classes and events designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. We offer engaging programs that support the whole person — social connection, independence, wellness, creativity, and confidence. Whether someone joins us for cooking, yoga, movement and wellness, creative arts, or community events, everything we offer is centered on one goal:

Helping people live fuller, more confident, more independent lives — with community beside them.

Our Values

Inclusion: We believe that every person, regardless of ability, deserves to be a part of a supportive and welcoming community.

Empowerment: We are committed to empowering all individuals served by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities to succeed.

Community: We strive to build a strong, connected community where everyone is valued, respected, and supported.

Compassion: Our approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and a deep commitment to the well-being of those we serve.
